1) Ravenscar is a restriction (subset) of full Ada tasking/realtime.  I would not bother with it unless it were required for a specific project.
2) Ada 2012 has built-in support for machines with an arbitrary number of CPUs.  Gnat 2013 supports Ada 2012.
