There has never been a corporation to sponsor Ada. Unlike Java and C# which have vigorous and aggressive advertisement sponsored by Sun and M$ respectively. They are the owner of the respective "products". Sun has invested millions of dollars to promote Java, for example, Sun set up a Java Competency Center in Malaysia. Millions of dollars were poured in. People who chose a programming language based on its popularity like advertisement and loud noisy announcement, are those have no technical merit in evaluating the programming language.
