Your experience differs from mine.
I contributed a critical bug fix and an enhancement to XML/Ada which took
several months to appear in a public release. Those changes were included
in version 1.0. How log have we been stuck on version 1.0 now?
Unless AdaCore is more responsive to integrating patches, I think it does
merit maintaining a separate CVS tree (sourceforge or elsewhere).
