My plan (once I'm using a Janus/Ada that supports it consistently, probably a few years still even though it is supported in the leading edge version now) is to completely forget the subtype version exists and use the object version consistently. (Note that J-P was one of the few people that didn't support this extension, so it's fair for him to be consistent - but he was wrong then and he's wrong now. ;-) Randy. Randy.
