I rather viewed him as second-best to the man who eventually because my major professor, Raphael Finkle. (Hope I spelled their names right!) Prof. Finkle eventually moved to Kentucky where he got a chance to run his own CS department. Hope he was effective there as he was at Wisconsin. Prof. Solomon had stayed at Wisconsin for many years. But I haven't had any contact with the CS Department in years, so I have no idea what happened to him. Randy.
