This should work out of the box. Debian or Fedora either has the latest GNAT FSF Ada in GCC 8. BB has enough memory to compile right on the board, so you need not to bother setting up a cross compiler. Even GPS should work. BTW, use a small external hard-drive to keep the system there or at least the user home. SD card is unreliable under extensive writing, you may experience system crashes if you would compile your things on SD.
