Apparently Microsoft does not want to use C/C++ anymore:

and going to Rust. No word about glorious VBA and illustrious C#,
though. The best ever inventions of computing era deserve no mention...

Ah, GC does not sit well with them, who might think? (:-))
BTW, It seems that Linux kernel will rust as well...
