And goto's are little used -- even if there were a benefit, it's not worth any extra trouble. I implemented those rules in GNAT when I was consulting for ACT. As a compiler writer, I find it very dissatisfying to do extra work that doesn't benefit my user community. This is one area Pascal got right. - Bob
