We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to:
 
- define software functionality based on system requirements
- write software development plans, software requirement
  specifications, software test plans, interface requirements and
  design documentation
- implement software designs in appropriate languages without
  supervision
- test software through code development, hardware integration and
  system tests
- interface with other disciplines, customers, subcontractors
  (discussions, presentations, correspondence)
- direct activities of other personnel assigned to work on projects
- support effort for software development covering all aspects of
  life-cycle management for new and existing products
 
The successful candidate must have a BSCS or equivalent, 10+ years
experience in software development on embedded real-time systems,
experience with DOD-STD-2167A software development techniques, and
knowledge of ADA and C programming.  You must have the ability to
work from functional specifications with minimal supervision and
manage project personnel, costs and schedules.  Familiarity with
Cadre Team Works a plus.  Experience with Unix based platform
development, local area network support, image processing
capabilities and digital signal processing programming a plus.
