Folks,
Can someone please send me the registration details for Tri-Ada?
I am particularly interested in the regsitration costs so that I can
take care of the paper work for my office. Please respond by e-mail.
Thank you very much.

MK. The following is from a TRI-Ada '93 flyer picked up at the
. WAdaS conference. Contact Danieli and O'Keefe Associates for more
  . information.

Is there really a reason why, year after year, getting information about
Tri-Ada so one can register is like pulling teeth? Here we are less than
two months from Tri-Ada and the first info on the conference shows up in
Ada Letters. No flyers have been received, even though I have attended
the past two Tri-Ada conferences.

This is doubly unfortunate as this year's meeting occurs within the same
(government) fiscal year as last year's. Getting funding for meetings is
tough, but to attend a meeting in the last month of the fiscal year when
details on it are only available at the last possible moment takes some
real perserverance.

Is it the goal of those organizing Tri-Ada to withhold the information
until the end to see just who is really committed to Ada (and will attend)?
I would think that it would be beneficial to the spread of Ada usage to
promote the meetings long in advance, provide details sufficiently far in
advance that potential attendees can solicit management/funding approval
and be able to plan schedules to account for being at the conference.

Over the years I have attended many conferences and do not recall another
series of conferences which have gone as far to inconvenience potential
attendees as does Tri-Ada. And it appears to be consistent from year to
year...

Amen to that! Considering how much money Tri-Ada pulls in for SIGAda, I
think the SIGAda powers-that-be should whip the Tri-Ada powers-that-be
into shape. I won't bore you all with more anecdotes...
