 TRILOGIC TO DISTRIBUTE TARTAN'S DEVELOPMENT SYSTEMS FOR Ada IN 
                           NEW ENGLAND

August 29, 1994 --  Tartan, Inc. has signed Trilogic, Inc. to
distribute Tartan's Ada products, as well as C and C++, in the New
England area.

Trilogic Systems Division is the leading technical sales and
support organization in the New England area for system level and
board level VMEbus products.  Trilogic will market and sell
Tartan's systems directly to new customers and to Tartan's
installed customer base.  

Tartan's VP of sales, Marlyse Bennett, says she anticipates a
highly profitable relationship.

            REFINE/Ada WILL BE DISTRIBUTED BY TARTAN

DATELINE:  September 9, 1994

August 29, 1994 -- Tartan, Inc. has signed an agreement with
Reasoning Systems to distribute the company's line of reverse
engineering tools for Ada and C.

Tartan will market and sell the REFINE/Ada product from the
Reasoning Systems' Portfolio.  This tool helps software engineers
to evaluate and reengineer existing Ada programs.  It analyzes code
and produces a database of program information and error flags
which are relayed to the user through detailed diagrams and tables. 
REFINE/Ada features an easy-to-use, pull down menu interface, the
capacity to work with large programs and facilities for customizing
the environment and for printing.

Also offered from the Reasoning Systems' Portfolio is REFINE/C and
Software Refinery.
