I'm involved in one of those meaningless exercises that we sometimes
get dragged into.  I'm trying to estimate the size of a new piece of
software based on older similar software in other languages.  Does
anyone have, or know a pointer to, "good" numbers for the comparative
lines of code when similar applications are written in Ada and
FORTRAN?  CMS-2?  C?
