Building ada-aware gdb 5.3

Hello

I am trying to build gdb 5.3 from http://libre.act-europe.fr/GDB

I tried on
Linux version 2.4.26-1-686 (horms@tabatha) (gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian
1:3.3.4-3))
I have ncurses installed

sh ../gdb-5.3/configure --prefix=/usr/local/gccw/GDB-5.3 --disable-nls

fails with

checking for cygwin... no
checking for tgetent in -lncurses... (cached) no
checking for tgetent in -lHcurses... no
checking for tgetent in -ltermlib... no
checking for tgetent in -ltermcap... (cached) no
checking for tgetent in -lcurses... (cached) no
checking for tgetent in -lterminfo... no
configure: error: Could not find a term library

Any idea of what is missing  ?

I got it ...

Works better with libncurses5-dev installed...

Why, may I ask?  I mean why are you not just doing:

apt-get source -b gnat-gdb

?
