We are looking for several individuals to work on our Ada compiler project.
The project consists of porting a validated Ada compiler to our
architecture, and validating. The compiler is written in Ada and uses an
Ada-to-Pascal translator as a bootstrap vehicle.
Future work in the department will be in areas of optimization, generation
of efficient code, peephole optimization in consideration of pipeline delays,
source level debugging, multiprocessing of Ada tasks, and other related areas.
Prospects should have:
o BS or higher degree in CS/EE/Math or equivalent experience.
o Strong background in compiler construction.
o Knowledge of advanced compiler design, especially with quality code
generation for retargetable compilers and optimization techniques.
o Proficiency in assembly, Ada, Pascal, Fortran and/or C.
