Isn't it more than what Ada has?

Java may not be producing really good standards with lots of conformant
implementations, but it does come with class libraries that do a lot of
things for the programmer. Ada (as a standard) comes with some math and
string stuff and some bindings to other things and what else? Specific
vendors may supply more stuff (and then you start approaching
copmpetitiveness with MFC - a vendor and platform specific library) but
wouldn't it be better to have some kind of pseudo-standard collection of
classes that go along with the language and do a bunch of work for the
developer?

All the arguments about Ada being "better" than one or more other languages
fall below the noise floor if it can't offer the developmental leverage you
get with some other language & its libraries.
