     Certifier_1 was not run on this software since source
     code was not provided.  The instructions in the README
     file were followed, and the test programs were compiled
     and run successfully.
     
     In talking with Michael Feldman, the faculty advisor
     on the original project, it was noted that problems
     with generics existed.  Note that the software is
     not yet complete and is still undergoing development.

6. Abstract:
AVLAda9X is a prototype Ada 9X student compiler/interpreter. Its goal is
to provide a small Ada 9x compiler/translator that is easy to install and
has good performance for compilation and interpretation. The version being 
released allows separate compilation  of package specs and bodies. The
tasking model is working with simple tasking constructs including the use
of protected units and tasks with discriminants as shown within the
enclosed example programs. Future work will focus on OOP and generics.
It is expected that the completed work will allow the use of most of the
Ada 9X constructs.
