Has anyone come across this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ADA-Ultimate-Beginners-Guide-Programming/dp/B08N3F32VB/ref=sr_1_4?crid=32UJ2UP8UQ7XG&dchild=1&keywords=ada+programming&qid=1606830277&s=books&sprefix=ada+pr%2Cstripbooks%2C151&sr=1-4

It looks like complete nonense from Amazon's "Look Inside" feature!

Looks like it's been written in German and automatically translated.
For instance:
wait for cash
I guess this is "wartbar" - maintainable.
"warten" is wait and also maintain, "bar" is able and also cash.
OMG!

Self published by someone without a solid grasp of English, good move.
There's a lot of B's in there, strange.

I should've gone further, she has more than this one book, not well
rated either.

Mmm - yes, that was the first thing I noticed about it, then "ada" written just under it in the subtitle!

Probably the most important S/w-engineering goal.

Thanks, I was curious where that came from.

This must have been in the original the German sharp s, also called sz: ß (a ligature), which is by non-Germans always misinterpreted as a capital B. There is even one place where it is interpreted as i3.

A little bit of digging finds a bunch of related books not just by her
but also other "authors" all with "MEM LNC" on the cover.

Here's 2 with apparently identical chapter headings... by "emma william"
and "john bach"

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Learning-Developing-Games-Unity-Programming/dp/
B08M2GS2Z4/ref=sr_1_4

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08BW5Y6MY/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6

Even the "Who this book is for" section is identical between them.
Goodness only knows how Emma's one got TWO stars!

Searching Amazon for "MEM LNC" shows 291 books, apparently evenly split
between Kpop fan books (?) sold as notebooks (so presumably empty) and
programming texts.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?
k=MEM+LNC&i=stripbooks&page=5&qid=1609088394&ref=sr_pg_5

Perhaps auto-translation has been used to defeat plagiarism detectors?
Anyway this looks like a sizeable scam and not just one failed self-
publish.

Reporting to Amazon...
